Be a Pro World Champs?

Am i the only one that even 5 seasons into be a pro, hasnt done the world champs once? Do you have to get picked for the national team?

What's the nationality and specialty of your rider?

My rider is norwegian and he is a sprinter, just turned 24

Norway has less riders to send and most WC routes are hilly, so that might explain it. When a flat WC comes along, you might get selected, unless of course there are better sprinters available. I think Norway only has 4 or 5 riders going to the WC so if the profile is hilly you're not going as a sprinter.

I have done 5 seasons as a Norwegian sprinter and havent gotten to race one WC yet either. As a stage racer from Norway i got to race the ITT my first season.
Sport freak. Mostly interested in Football (Liverpool, Rosenborg with more), increasing interest in cycling.
Also big Formula 1 fan. Ferrari <3

I imagine being a Norwegian sprinter must be tough going up against a rider with a high AVG like Kristoff. Norway is a strong nation for such a small number of spaces so not getting to race, on courses that don't suit your rider best, should not come as a surprise. Try a career with a Puncher and i bet you'd have been twice inside 4 seasons.
