Pro cyclist: Fitness won't change

Hello, i put my ciclist on to get better fitness and it goes up on his graphic (70-80% aprox) but then on the main page and wen I go in to a race the fitness is red (no fatigue problems)

any solution?

I face the same issue.. My rider has bad condition all the time no matter what..

And no, it is not mentioned in that thread.
