After the prologue, the sprinters will get a chance to take over the race lead. Some hills on the route, anything but a sprint finish though would be surprising.
The list of sprinters is long, so it`s tough to rate a top favourite here.
Van Stayen, Lo Cicero and Mohs surely good bets.

The group had a maximum of 4min but now with 8km to go it`s only 25s left.

In especially first is highly unlucky after a good showing in the prologue and definitely a rider for a decent GC.

The breakaway is caught just a bit later and now with 4km to go the sprint trains are forming. No surprise that the 3 working teams today all try to support their riders now. Lo Cicero though still trying to find the right wheel as he is on the wrong side of the road at the moment.

Guarnieri is a huge surprise. Good Energy normally should have a huge train here. Is it a bad day for the Italian sprinter?
Also some other sprinters like Van der Lijke or Grosu not really in a good position.

Lo Cicero moved to the left and found his train now. So it`s 3 trains with 3 riders each.
Other notable changes are Goss and Napolitano switched places now with Ahlstrand behind.
Petit, Tzortzakis, Maksimov behind the Pokerstars riders and Kennaugh behind Lo Cicero.
Holloway has los a bit as he seems to be blocked behind some other riders.

2km and Quickstep surely the weakest train. The final leadout goes into the wind and it will be interesting to see, who is strongest. Van Avermaet, Stauff or Van Asbroeck?
Holloway behind Ahlstrand now in a decent position as well.

The clear answer is Stauff. But also Van Asbroeck did a great job, while Van Avermaet again struggled as already seen in Qatar.
Mohs now in the best position still behind his team mate with 700m to go.
Lo Cicero again missed the wheel of Van Asbroeck, while Van Stayen just goes around Van Avermaet.
Goss on the right is coming fast such as Petit, Ahlstrand, Tzortzakis, Maksimov and Kennaugh. Holloway and Napolitano a bit behind just like Coppel.

Perfect leadout. With only 400m left Mohs has to go into the wind. Much later than the other riders. Taking profit of this is clearly Kennaugh, who was behind them.
Lo Cicero in the middle with Tzortzakis, Petit behind and Van Stayen next to Goss with Ahlstrand, Holloway behind.

No chance Mohs was losing this. Perfectly done by Pokerstars today. He won`t pass Coppel though, who stays another day in the race lead.

Van Stayen also with a good 2nd after his leadout somehow failed with Kennaugh in 3rd.
Lo Cicero with a weird sprint today only 4th ahead of young Ahlstrand and Goss.
