I've been editing one of the DB's and something very strange happened. A bit of context first.
I've installed the game, copied the stages from previous years, installed one RealName DB and put the stats from PCM14 (Jesl DB v2) to the DB that I've installed (using Excel Editor). After this, again with the excel editor, I've correct and added equipment and the sponsors. Well, not quite added. Just copy and paste from one DB to another. All went fine and I didn't noticed any problems.
Today, I just wanted to do the same thing with some races from PCM14 passing them to PCM15. Some stages were in .CDX files. So what I did in first place was to copy the stages I wanted from one directory to another. After this, using the excel editor, I just copied the lines that I wanted (mainly correct race dates). Post this, when I tried to test, the game doesn't let me to choose any variant apart from the initial one. For example, with the TDF in the menu from single race mode, I can't choose other variant than the 2015. The same with the other races with variants.
Does this happen a lot? Any solution? This is really annoying as this is the only drawback to really start a career.
Also, when I installed the DB, a local file wasn't produced to MyDocs/PCM15. I wanted to alter the Cya to UCI. Any solution?
Hope I've explained my doubts well. Any question just ask.
Cheers guys

Any ideas? I've tried everything. Copy again the stages files, see if there's a problem with the codes when editing the DB, etc.
It's a bit annoying as I'Ve the .cdx files connecting with other stages in variants and the games doesn't recognise the variants resulting in having a lot of Plouay profiles.
even more strange is that the same stages doesn't appear to have any problems in PCM14.
I'Ve been thinking about reinstall the game and maybe thats the way to go. But it was so much work that I don't want to give up right away.
I have no idea, but if you really need variants then check out the "Variant Pack 2010-2013" you can find it in the 2014 section. Just simply paste into Documents/Pro Cycling Manager 2015/Mod/Stages
Thanks for your answer @Alexander2000. The problem isn't with having variants or not. I have the stages from the previous years from past PCM's. The problem is making appear the variants in game. I must have make it wrong somewhere and now they don't appear. I'll download that pack, reinstall the game and make the edit from the 0.
