Pro cyclist: Giro - not enough riders

I am in my third season and about to ride the Giro. Problem is that only 8 riders are on the team and i need minimum 9. Not much i can do about it. Someone mentioned using the editor to get past it.
Can someone help me with how to do this? |

There are two ways:
1. Go back in time and hope that nobody gets injured this time. The game makes a weekly backup of your career so you can copy such a backup to your save game folder.
2. Replace the injured rider in the table DYN_team_race
Edit: According to several feedback the second way does not work.
So for now it seems you can only fix this problem when it's related to an injured rider.

I tried both now and it simply wont happen  . I tried going 2 weeks back and it still picks 8 riders. Then i remove injuries from the team AND switch the startup riders in DYN_team_race. Still picks 8 riders. Maybe i am doing something wrong? |

I can't figure this one out either, tried messing around with the editor and clearing my team mates injuries but nothing changes. |

Sorry for the wrong information. I don't have this years game and apparently you cannot edit the riders which should participate in a race when playing in Be-A-Pro mode.
I heard that the weeklysave might help but maybe not always.

I went back a week with my weekly save and it continued through it fine. |
