What's the difference with the different trainer types?

I never played pcm 14 so am not sure if it's new this year or not, but the trainers don;t have specialized areas anymore. What do each of the Styles mean? I've jsut started a manager mode after playing Be A Cyclist for a few days and need to set up my trainers but am not sure what i'm doing
