Todays prologue starts the C2HC Benelux Challenge. Some of the race favourites are already expected to gain some time today such as Kuboki or De Maar. Though there are other riders, who might do better against the clock.

The best time did change a couple of times early on.
Rosas first, who got then beaten by Jakin, Theuns and Sebright.
It`s pcmdaily.com/images/mg/micro/dek.png Pökälä then with a new best. 7'30 for him.
A bit of a surprise that Spaniard pcmdaily.com/images/mg/micro/gat.png Aramendía is far off 16th only with +8s.

pcmdaily.com/images/mg/micro/gen.png Boaro might have been the top favourite today. The Italian belongs to the divisions best time trialist and even prefers those shorter ones. He also is a potential GC rider here even though he does not like the cobbles at all, which might lower his chances. Today though he takes first for the moment. 4s faster than Pökälä.

Quite a lot of riders were not able to beat this time. Bauer (+18s), De Maar (+10s), Kuboki (+6s) are all high GC bets. De Maar as best allrounder with a decent time, while Kuboki surely had hoped for a bit more. His strength in hills and time trials need to bring him an advantage as the cobbles are his biggest weakness.
Another sprinter in pcmdaily.com/images/mg/micro/fwt.png Meyer is also one of the best prologue riders. He comes close to Boaro but misses 2s in the end. 2nd position for him though.

pcmdaily.com/images/mg/micro/ino.png Kruopis another interesting rider here. One of the best sprinters and solid against the clock and on uphill sections. And as okay cobbler, he might be considered as decent allrounder for a good GC. Though he is behind the best on most stages. Coming in with only 2s behind though is a big sign.

Last rider who was expected to possibly beat the best time was Tennant. But he is 4s off taking 5th today.

So Boaro wins the opener and takes the leader jersey while Kruopis, Kuboki, De Maar all did well here. Just like Gaimon, Vastaranta or Finetto.
