Hello guys
I don't know if I should go to a store to get the disc version of PCM or I should just get it on steam. I got the all the disc versions since 2007.
Will there be any difficulties using editors and editor files if I buy on steam? I been a heavy user of Lachi's and other editors and databases over the past years. And it worked really well.
So what would you recommend? Steam or Disc version?
Kind Regards

For a bit more advanced answer i would add that having open steam while playing generates more CPU, which causes your computer to perform slower but that's usually not a problem for 90% of the users who has a computer which run the game without too much problems.
And to answer your question about editors, it's not a problem, it functions the same way as a disc version. Only difference is that you often will have to download most expansions and db's manually into the Steam folder instead of the usual "Program files64 > Pro cycling manager" folder

Nevertheless, you can start the the game without Steam when you don't like to - even if you have purchased it via Steam. Just browse to the directory (mostly the main folder) with the PCM.exe and run it. |

anyone with a bit of a serious pc should have no problem running any game + steam in the background. You have to have an old or crappy pc should that be the problem.
when i play games i have so many shit running in the background and still doing everything on ultra in QHD or 4k with no frame drops. |

I just bough a new computer in January, before that i had to run PCM on a crappy laptop and i had to close a shitload of program too run PCM without it starting to lag mid way a race, so i just thought to mention it.
Steam is not the biggest issue when it comes to taking up CPU so its not that big of a deal, for example i found out that windows media player constantly run in the backround taking up serious amount of CPU, the same with any Anti-virus programs, but anyway some people should take it into account.
