The only major difference today was that Quickstep were doing much of the chasing. A good omen for Lo Cicero? The Italian hasn't featured in the sprints thus far.
No breakaways for the win here.
The break are gobbled up with 10 KM to go. At the same time we see 22 riders dropped from the peloton, the biggest names being Rowe. However, with no real reason to keep the pace high they would regroup.
Before we know it the sprint is on!

The massive news is that Bewley is nowhere to be seen.
There is the yellow jersey.
The race leader is well out of position today, it doesn't help that Harrison really hinders his attempt to get into the mix.
It becomes very clear very quickly that Bewley won't win stage 3.
Vesuvio - Accumalux and Quickstep have the top lead-outs today.
From here, going at 80 km/h Bos is looking good. Van Avermaet for the third stage loses ground as the final lead-out man.
Under 1 KM to go.
Swift launches his sprint and immediately gets a gap back to the rest. It is looking really good for the points jersey wearer with his Kiwi rival nowhere to be seen.
Guarnieri desperately tries to hold the wheel with a close battle for the final podium spot.
Swift wins and moves into the race lead after a comfortable stage win! Bewley, 16th, misses out on the top 10 and the points and now finds himself '5 off the GC lead, a bad day for him.
Italian champ, Lo Cicero, finishes second after a good day for Quickstep with Tzortzakis edging out the blanket sprint for 3rd. The top 10 in GC really looking competitive with all of these bonus seconds on offer.
