Game Crash - Seasons Objectives

I'm just at the beginning of year three of my game and can't really progress because the game keeps crashing randomly whilst I'm setting my risers' season goals. Has anybody had problems with this previously and if so, how was it resolved?

Did you try to go the next day without setting the season goals?
Maybe it works on the next day.

Still happens the next day too. Seems to happen most often when changing the category of race list.
