Hey guys, i just finished my uni exams and now that i have time to play i bought pcm 2014. Thing is, I've seen i can set cyclists in different groups to make it easier to manage, but i dont see the training schedules we used to have. So, do i have to set the training schedule 1 by 1 on each cyclist? ( hope not) its just kinda boring to be hitting on the bars with 20 cyclist, is there any way im missing to set the cyclist to a training schedule like we used to have in previous versions of pcm?
Havent found info about it, thats why im posting it here, sorry if theres a thread about it already.

That was the first question I posted a few months back! The sad answer is no. At the start of every season you'll have to adjust the training for every rider individually, a real pain. Selecting season objectives (again, individually) helps a bit, but not much.
Here's the link to my question and in the last post I describe the quickest way I found to plan a world tour season. But it's nowhere as fast as previously, where I just assigned my training schedules to the riders.

You could use my season planner tool. In my tool you plan the season for groups of riders and also copy and paste schedules.
In previous years, it was easier to plan the season in my tool. But sadly, over time, my tool lost features due to updates in the game. But as far as I know, it is still fully functional with PCM 2014.

Lachi ty so much for ur Season planner it is a fantastic tool that compense the very bad pcm2014 interface.
I just have a little quesstion.
If at the day 1 I plan my season and the form training schedules using ur season planner, I think if I change the raiders objectives than the fitness schedule will be re-defined by the game. so i would like dont touch the objectives in order to mantain the fitness schedule planned with the season planner. The question is:
- What happening if i keep the default objective list? it mean that the cyclist doesnt parteciate to objective races but he will follow my plan...
What does it affect the raider moral if u have a false objective list? or an empty objective list? |

Sorry but I don't know if the moral of the riders are affected. Did you try the forum search?
What do you mean with default objective list?
My season planner sets the objectives for the riders based on the season planning.
As you might have seen, you can assign races to riders. If this race is a sponsor goal, it will be marked as his objective.
So, theoretically, you don't have to do the fitness schedules but let the game do them based on the sponsor goals the riders will be participating in.

I am very unhappy but ur planner dont work.
I am using the version 2.7beta with the pcmdaily db.
Everything seem to work well i am able to do the plan and i start the season but when i reach the first race the game crash
i discovered that the problem is not the first race but several races as:
Hearld sun tour or Grand prix de la marseille, when I reach these races where i partecipate the game crash!
etoille de besseges and giro degli etruschi works fine
or La tropicale Amissa Bongo work fine too
Why the planner seem have problem with several races?

The problem is that the planner force the partecipation to races so this behaviour produce crashes for continental teams where often the partecipations for certains races are refused...
any suggestion? |

Did you select races where your team is not allowed to participate?
Like I said before, my planner lacks certain functionality. It cannot check if you are allowed to participate in a race. I always work with the game in the background to check the profiles of the races. And if I look at the calender in the game, I see which races are OK and I don't select them. |

I resolved as follow:
i ask the partecipation of all races in the calendar and i go ahead 1 day, the day after i know which races I can include in my planning with ur planner.
Do u have a better solution? |

I think this is a easy and quite quick solution.
In my planner, you can use the filters to hide certain race categories. This also helps to find races which are good for your team. But you would still have to read the rules in the game to see which categories are good, so your solution is easier. |
