Training Camps and the AI

The start of the Giro gave me cause to dust of the game once more. After starting a new career I soon got the reminder to use training camps.

This made me wonder, does the AI finally use camps in this game? I'm assuming it doesn't, so I'm not planning to use any myself.

But just in case it does it would be good to know, because being able to use training camps (without it essentially being cheating) would add some fun strategy to the game.
