You can attack in any race but obviously on a very flat stage it's always going to be very hard, as the teams will be riding hard for their sprinters. I once won the Paris-Tours with a final attack in the last 2km when it looked like it was a 99% certainty that it was going to a be a group sprint. I did it with Taylor Phinney who has very high flat, so you need to choose the rider to do it with but it's very hard. |
