How to improve Squad Ranking with Sponsor?

Hi guys

I have been with a custom sponsor for 3 seasons now and their squad rating of me has always been really low. How do i improve this?

I searched the forum for an answer to this very question - and have now come up with one myself. I like to hire the best riders I can get and don't want to be restricted by my sponsor's preferences so I always pick a sponsor with no important territories - but the squad happiness bar always remains nearly non-existant, just like in stealingsilver's screenshot.

And then I remember, from way back when, when I had a sponsor who wanted riders from several countries, that the bar was half-full. So I thought: Maybe this evaluation needs important territories, maybe more than one. I don't have any, stealing's one territory doesn't seem to be enough.

So I opened my save game in Lachi's editor, selected the table DYN_sponsor_regions and added a few lines. My sponsor wasn't in the table (since he had no important territories) so I picked him from the drop-down menu and as regions I picked countries I have (2 or 3) good riders from (Italy, Spain and France). For importance I picked 1 (least) and for wanted I picked 5 (5%). And voila, the bar is now full!

So that seems to be the answer. A sponsor cannot be happy about the squad if he doesn't have several important territories - and of course you'll need riders from those regions in your squad.
