have a CLEAN install (meaning freshly installed), with the latest patch installed.
then use winrar or whatever to extract the files within to the PCM directory.
If it asks you to substitute the files that were already there, it means you've done it correctly.
did that work or still having problems?

I have downloaded the gigant whit winRar, and if I understand you right, I just put the gigant in to pcm?
I tried that, but I just get many, many errors:S
feel a little stupid
what errors? winrar shows you errors while extracting?
if that's it, the answer is sure and simple: the file has been incorrectly downloaded and is corrupted (not your fault, happens sometimes).
download it again and it should be fine.

whatever else you download has no effect. but if you installed both...that's a sure way for it to not work.
like I said above. for any DB, have a CLEAN install. freshly installed game.

is it right that in the gigantsilver06, teams like phonak, and people like ulle is in he game, because it is in mine!, is there a way to fix this, or do I haft to wait to ppdbgigant07?

the reason for them being there is that since the game starts on january first, the DB should be exactly as the teams were on January first.
I'm actually thankful Plakker did it this way. I can't see the logic of, for instance, starting the year with the national champions being the ones of June especially since when the game gets to June, there'll be new ones...
anyway, back on topic.
you can use converters to change it. Alyssafan's converters can be downloaded from this site.
I don't reccomend you use editors. most have a problem with as large quantities of data as the Giant has.

If you want 07 start list ..I recomend for you other DB-s.RSM news wich you found on Downloads folder here..small pacage..right names..no problems to run.
Or if you are more freek then Stanosbase...best thing for both will be same..clean install..

then new DB.
