Ayubowan! 2015
Ayubowan everyone, from Ayubowan! Sri Lanka's only professional cycling team is here for the 2015 season, our first season in the Pro Tour. Our main aim is to develop Sri Lankan cycling with the aim of one day having a Sri Lankan majority team and an all Sri Lankan line up in a Grand Tour. But for now, in order to be competitive we needed a side focus and for the 3rd season we've gone with France.
Our sponsors include a group of Sri Lankan companies giving us the Ayubowan name and then some French companies due to our additional focus. We intend to only have French and Sri Lankan riders which will make being competitive difficult, but we'll do our damndest to remain in the Pro Tour.
We have two bases for the upcoming season, our traditional Evian base in France for during the European season, and a new base in Kandy for during the winter and administrative tasks during the season. The change in government in Sri Lanka has lead to us leaving Hambantota - the Commonwealth Games bid is no more - but Kandy offers mountains, hills, a milder climate and a great lakeside HQ with amazing views.
Thanks to aidanvn13 for a great job. Note that it says Ayubowan in Sinhala and Tamil on it!

Rider Availability Overview
Definitely Staying
Kenny Elissonde
Cyril Gautier
Adrien Petit
Ishan Sandakelum
Dane Steve Nugara
Laxmen Wijerathna
The three young Frenchmen are expected to be the core of our team for many years to come, and currently they're irreplaceable. No matter how much is offered, those 3 are off the table. The three Sri Lankans will stay as we aim to become more Sri Lankan overall. Currently they're among the best options, and as long as that lasts they'll ride for us.
Available for the right offer
Jocelin Maillet
Yoann Bagot
Neither rider is transfer listed, but if the price is right then they are available. Put simply, we see better alternatives out there but don't want to change what we have unless those alternatives are available.
Transfer Listed
Daniel Ricardo Diaz
Alessandro Proni
René Mandri
Kai Reus
Piotr Mazur
Roy Goldstein
Sébastien Turgot
Heinrich Haussler
Andrea Guardini
Blaise Sonnery
Mustafa Carsi
Maani Altanzul
All the aforementioned riders except Turgot and Sonnery are for sale as they don't fit our nationality focus. Turgot and Sonnery, while French, are too old to fit in with our focus, so are therefore also expected to be sold.
Released
John Gadret
Gadret is a French legend, but decline has hit him hard and it's time for us to let him go. We could renew him, but feel it's not worth it just to search for a negligible fee.

Transfer Targets
Obviously there are riders on it that we expect to have no chance of signing, and it will change when the new database is released, but this is just to express interest and see who needs to be chalked off. Also, some riders aren't listed due to being low priority at the moment, but they may move up the list if others are unavailable. Riders are listed in each section from most intetesting to least interesting.

Thanks! Aidan outdid himself once again, and I enjoy the challenge of having such a small nation as my focus. Hopefully I'll be headed back to Sri Lanka when I've done my degree and got a job - it's truly a great place
Everything is in place now in the HQ, hope it's readable |

Yeah good stuff here jph and quite original with team name, has any team sponsors done this in the past? By that I mean not insisted on their actual name being on the jersey?
Le Bon and vuillermoz could well be interested in your team, they are not super happy with the thought of being domestques for Jose Alarcon or leaders of other so called French teams!

@Smowz: We're kind of an Astana like project, and it does say Ayubowan on our jersey in Sinhala and Tamil. SN is probably the best to ask about similar things in the past though. As for Vuillermoz and Le Bon, we'll be in touch when transfers get underway - they're exactly what we're looking for in our climbing squad
@Jesley: Good to see some interest, we'll speak in transfers. With Ignatiev, Rogers and Bobridge gone he could be quite the PCT TT beast |

I think that saying " i like the cah" would be more apropriate.
Mad goals for a new PT team, it would need at least two great leaders to achieve them. And i still shoul believe you are not going after Coppel?
