Welcome to Africa for the Moroccan national championships. There is just 5 riders here to contest the title, who come from three teams:
FCB-Polska
Jaguar - Eritel
Team Kenya Airways
Soufiane Haddi
Essaid Abelouache
Tarik Chaoufi
Ismail Ayoune
Mouhssine Lahsaini
First of all we have the road race, which is taking place on a hilly route. As the race begins two of the five riders attack away from the rest - Ayoune and Haddi.
Unsurprisingly like many of this year's national championships those two stay away, building an unassailable lead.
We skip to the start of the sprint, where the action begins with Ayoune opening up the sprint. Haddi closely follows behind as the gradient ramps up.
It's Ayoune who takes the win after never losing the lead. He claims the victory for Jaguar here after a strong sprint.
Haddi has to settle for second place, he just wasn't strong enough in the end. The rest of the field all retired after falling too far behind the two attackers.
Now we have the time-trial championships in sunny Morocco. Two of the five contenders stand out as potential winners - road race champion Ayoune and Jaguar team mate Lahsaini are the two strongest time-triallers in this field. That should make it a Jaguar shootout for the victory.
As expected Ayoune is the first rider to set a decent time, finishing in a time of 1h13'21.
The three finishers around him all fail to beat him. With only Lahsaini left to finish, can he double up and become RR and TT champion?
It doesn't look like it, as Lahsaini beats his time at all three checkpoints.
It is then confirmed at the finish; Lahsaini stops the clock on a time of 1h12'05, meaning he comfortably takes the ITT title here by 1 minute and 16 seconds.
Chaoufi rounds off the podium.
That means Jaguar take both titles here in Morocco, making it a very successful championships here for them.
