Road Race
The early attack came from Khalifa(LIN UAE 67HL) and he was joined by Wahyudi(SPR IND 67HL) and Suryadi(SCL IND 61HL). With at least one rider from each nation in the break the remaining peloton chose to sit up, leaving the trio to fight for race win honors.
Wahyudi attacks with 4km to go! Khalifa sets the pace to chase him as the road starts to go upwards for the final time.
Khalifa distances Suryadi with 2km to go and reaches the back wheel of Wahyurdi. The two leaders ride clear away. Any remaining contest for the respective titles might be gone but both riders want to win the Race outright.
Neither rider is an adept sprinter but Wahyurdi placed himself on the inside line, which was enough to give him the race win and Indonesian Title. Khalifa a very close second but takes the UAE Title. Suryadi finishes 3rd in the race, the rest never make it to the line.

Time Trial
Two stand out favorites for his one. Banihammad for the UAE race and Bambang Suryadi for the IND race.
Bambang Suryadi indeed delivers on his promise for Siam Cement-Lenovo. He beats Dadi Suryadi's time at every check point and goes provisionally quickets by 17" at the finish line. Job done and title secured.
Yousef Mirza Banihammad goes one better. He smashes every time check on the course to win the race by a giant 1'42 over Bambang. His gap to Khalifa was 1'59. Easy title secured for him in a rather dull ITT affair.
