Malaysia welcomes it's best 10 cyclists and also (kind of a) local team in Sauber-Petronas for a hopefully interesting flat road race and timetrial..

Defending road champion Manan will surely try to repeat his victory he had with Meiji last year. We've several similar strong sprinters at the start though..

This may not mean anything, since the strongest team (Sauber) is featured in a solo-breakaway: Ahmad Zamri attacked early and is allowed to stay clear..

..for the easiest win in his career: an uncontested road victory for Ahmad Zamri, with all other starters quitting the race!

The 48km flat timetrial has one clear favorite (Awang), who already won this title last year. Will he deliver again?

Road champion Ahmad Zamri may have a minor chance on a very good day: he's provisional third at the half-time split, but already down by 31" on Awang..

Also Mat Senan might have hoped for a shot at the title: he's slightly faster than Zamri, taking the provisional lead at the finish by less than a second!

The favorite strikes again though: it's a pretty similar result like last year, where he did win by 44 seconds on runner-up Senan.

Awang repeats his victory and finishes first again: 43" on runner-up Senan and third-placed Zamri!
