Which should I download and i which order? As it seems quite confusing.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated

First you should install the patch. You only need to download and install the latest patch: https://pcmdaily.c...hp?did=938

Databases are not needed to play, but if you plan to play a long career, you should download a database which includes variants of the races, so that you don't have to play the same stages year after year. Due to obvious reasons, most people here would recommend the daily-db. You can find it in the download section: https://pcmdaily.c...hp?did=941

You can also find updates for that pack in the download section: https://pcmdaily.c...p?catid=83
