Hello everybody, My name is Jacques Deveraux, and I am here to present my vision for the future of professional cycling.

I can only hope there will be no more corruption, and no more doping. I present to you... The FCI!

However, I cannot achieve this without you, the young men who will be on the teams, you experienced heads, directeur sportifs, and the leading cycling representatives sitting here in this very room, I want you to represent your nation with a chair on the FCI.

I want two from the Benelux, a Spaniard, a Brit, an American, and someone to represent South America, Africa, Asia and Oceania.

I will need you to become riders and staff to trial this first season, to see if professional cycling can reclaim the glory and excitement I know captured our hearts before the dark days of doping.

So will you join me in my quest for a cleaner, brighter and better future for cycling?
