There is the politics thread but that is about, well politics, and someone cant really start a discussion about anything for more than a page in Cafe Pedro so I am making this thread to discuss the news around the world. I t can be anything. Currently the main headlines are Obviously Ebola and Philae landing on a comet. Discuss!

I imagine that if it's big enough news surely it can be discussed in the Cafe, the off-topic thread. Then if it's too much for the Cafe it will go into the Difficult Topics thread... Just my thoughts
