Sprinter classic or one for the puncheurs?
For both scenarios we have a few favourites like the top sprinters
i439.photobucket.com/albums/qq112/Gustavovskiy/microjerseys14/alp.png Forero
i439.photobucket.com/albums/qq112/Gustavovskiy/microjerseys14/tas.png Rowe
i439.photobucket.com/albums/qq112/Gustavovskiy/microjerseys14/azt.png Farrar
i439.photobucket.com/albums/qq112/Gustavovskiy/microjerseys14/bon.png Manarelli
i439.photobucket.com/albums/qq112/Gustavovskiy/microjerseys14/rse.png Matthews
i439.photobucket.com/albums/qq112/Gustavovskiy/microjerseys14/ttt.png Vingerling
plus some "puncheur" sprinters like
i439.photobucket.com/albums/qq112/Gustavovskiy/microjerseys14/evo.png Geschke
i439.photobucket.com/albums/qq112/Gustavovskiy/microjerseys14/ano.png Pozdnyakov

5 breakaway riders including some helpers of pre race favourites:
i439.photobucket.com/albums/qq112/Gustavovskiy/microjerseys14/bon.png Mas
i439.photobucket.com/albums/qq112/Gustavovskiy/microjerseys14/alp.png Ochoa
i439.photobucket.com/albums/qq112/Gustavovskiy/microjerseys14/evo.png Edmondson
i439.photobucket.com/albums/qq112/Gustavovskiy/microjerseys14/gnu.png Campos
i439.photobucket.com/albums/qq112/Gustavovskiy/microjerseys14/ioa.png Abraha

i1101.photobucket.com/albums/g434/Roturn1988/Man%20Game%202014/Bucks%20County/mg2014_bucks_PCM0014.jpg

Team ASDA, Risa and Azteca are the main teams working behind. Wit a bit under 100km to go they have a bit more than 5min and melting.

i1101.photobucket.com/albums/g434/Roturn1988/Man%20Game%202014/Bucks%20County/mg2014_bucks_PCM0018.jpg

40km left and with 2 laps the first riders try to attack as the gap to the breakaway is down to 2min.
i439.photobucket.com/albums/qq112/Gustavovskiy/microjerseys14/ttt.png Ghyllebert
i439.photobucket.com/albums/qq112/Gustavovskiy/microjerseys14/vtb.png Schär
i439.photobucket.com/albums/qq112/Gustavovskiy/microjerseys14/ano.png Pozdnyakov
Last one is a bit surprising as he could wait for the sprint. Then again the hills did not prove to be that difficult so that he decides to make it harder.

i1101.photobucket.com/albums/g434/Roturn1988/Man%20Game%202014/Bucks%20County/mg2014_bucks_PCM0022.jpg

With the help of Wounded Warrior, Evonik and Bank of Ireland the attackers are caught again 10km later. At the moment it looks indeed like the sprinters can fight this out.

i1101.photobucket.com/albums/g434/Roturn1988/Man%20Game%202014/Bucks%20County/mg2014_bucks_PCM0033.jpg

10km and still 1min gap for the breakaway which makes it a close finish.
Some more riders try to attack seeing that the sprinter teams have some problems to control the situation.
i439.photobucket.com/albums/qq112/Gustavovskiy/microjerseys14/boi.png Laidler
i439.photobucket.com/albums/qq112/Gustavovskiy/microjerseys14/wwr.png Lammertink

i1101.photobucket.com/albums/g434/Roturn1988/Man%20Game%202014/Bucks%20County/mg2014_bucks_PCM0039.jpg

The peloton is still 800m behind the breakaway with Lammertink also in between. The pace is high again as the sprint trains are formed.

i439.photobucket.com/albums/qq112/Gustavovskiy/microjerseys14/alp.png Forero

i439.photobucket.com/albums/qq112/Gustavovskiy/microjerseys14/evo.png Geschke

It must be said that Vingerling, Richeze and Geschke have quite a gap actually. Last not even looking to take part in the sprint to be honest as the hills are not tough enough. Instead Hansen is their rider here.

i1101.photobucket.com/albums/g434/Roturn1988/Man%20Game%202014/Bucks%20County/mg2014_bucks_PCM0050.jpg

Still 600m advantage for the breakaway as the sprint just has started with Jorgensen and Murray taking over.

i1101.photobucket.com/albums/g434/Roturn1988/Man%20Game%202014/Bucks%20County/mg2014_bucks_PCM0052.jpg

In front Edmondson leads out Abraha. Both are the strongest sprinters in that group and the others look too tired to follow them.

i1101.photobucket.com/albums/g434/Roturn1988/Man%20Game%202014/Bucks%20County/mg2014_bucks_PCM0054.jpg

With 2km to go Matthews already has to take the lead due to the breakaway still in front.
Farrar and Manarelli just behind him in the best position. From far behind Vingerlin is coming next already with Rowe, Fisher, Forero, Sinner, Hansen, Sweeting coming next.

i1101.photobucket.com/albums/g434/Roturn1988/Man%20Game%202014/Bucks%20County/mg2014_bucks_PCM0060.jpg

Last kilometer and Edmondson still in the lead with only Abraha behidn him. The remaining three are caught and the sprinter might also catch them on the final meters.

i1101.photobucket.com/albums/g434/Roturn1988/Man%20Game%202014/Bucks%20County/mg2014_bucks_PCM0062.jpg

So close but now Farrar is almost next to them with Manarelli also coming closer.
Behind them it`s surprisingly Fisher and Hansen looking fastest with Matthews struggling now being too long in the wind.
Forero, Rowe, Vingerling also in the fight for a top10.

i1101.photobucket.com/albums/g434/Roturn1988/Man%20Game%202014/Bucks%20County/mg2014_bucks_PCM0068.jpg

Farrar goes into the lead with Edmondson in 2nd. Manarelli fighting for 3rd with Abraha.

i1101.photobucket.com/albums/g434/Roturn1988/Man%20Game%202014/Bucks%20County/mg2014_bucks_PCM0070.jpg

Great win for Tyler Farrar in his home classic. With a nice gap he is coming in celebrating his success.

i1101.photobucket.com/albums/g434/Roturn1988/Man%20Game%202014/Bucks%20County/mg2014_bucks_PCM0071.jpg

Manarelli as 2nd with a good result as well. But more mentionable the 3rd here with Alex Edmondson for Evonik.
The fight for 4th was really close then with Fonseca just ahead of Forero and Rowe in a photo finish. First really came from a bad position and is delivering nice points in the end.
Abraha with a nice result himself as 7th ahead of Hansen, who makes it a nice day for Evonik even without their bigger stars in the mix.
Vingerling and Fisher end the top10 while Matthews as 15th could not get a good result himself after working hard to avoid a breakaway win.
