Hello i might think that i have installed the game wrong. I am using STEAM. And do just what its tell me.. I have been in the carrier with the først database.. But when i install the update patch i get this problem
When i download and install the update /patch 1.2.0.0 i get an error message in the end
Cant drive the file C:/Program files/Cyanide/Pro Ccling Manager - Season 2014/Autorun/Exe/autorun.exe
CreateProcess went wrong, kode 267
Filename is incorrect
Can you help me? or where can i get help? |

Steam should install patches automatically, make sure that your computer is online and that you have the updates activated for PCM.
Ask steam for more info about receiving updates for the games.

so you says that normally it should already be updated for even 1.3.0.0?
If so i'm happy..
And whatabuot other DBs? like expansion? will i get the same error message there? and why?
first time i use steam. i had the online games few years ago but then i use the links on mail for downloading..

You can install databases and expansion packs. These are no official files and have to be installed using the instructions given.
The installation folder of the game should be something like C:\program files\steam\common\steamapps\
Just search for PCM.exe to find it. |

what insstruction? this is the only "instructions"
Download the file.
2. Open the file with uTorrent or a similar torrent client. The Expansion Pack will start to download.
3. Once done, double click PCMdailyExpansionPack.exe.
4. This will guide you through the process. After the installation, you can pick the Expansion Pack in the Options -> Database tab.
It looks fine when i click on the exe file. But when it goes to the installation side, it just loading. And i get the error msg
Cannot finish. PCMDailyEx..... want respond

i use torrent and it says 100% downloaded so yes i'm quite sure that i waited until it wasfinished. Its 10 files and exefile is 900 MB. The whole file is 8.64 GB But well if i try manually install myself? click on ich file?
. Don't know.. i've done this so many times before, on the other versons.. no problems then except for småll problems...

Its kind of weard. I do exact the same when i install FDB and i got no errors there. only the markers get pink,i try to uninstall everything and reinstall it again beføre i post again..

FDB is not the same as the expansion pack so you cannot compare. But you should never install two or more databases or expansion packs.
To install a datbase/expansion pack properly, do it like this:
1. Un-install the game
2. Install the game
3. Install the patch
4. Install the database or expansion pack
I cannot remember exactly how you do it in steam, but I think you have to first remove the local files of the game, then download the game again, then wait until the update has been downloaded. |

ok, just to make sure that i understand you..
Un install is done noew,, installing is okay, and patch installing should be done automatically (they say so in steam community)
And all files is now deleted. Even pcm13 game.
One more time, thanx for help and i will try again..

There is no need to uninstall PCM13.
Yes, the patch will be installed automatically through steam, but you still have to make sure that is has been installed before you install the expansion pack or the DB. |
