Here is the breakaway:
Verona
De Winde
Rivera
Bell
Schuler
Gallego
Mas
Their lead grew early on but was already just 3 minutes with 55km to go, where Gallego was unlucky to crash.
There is just one climb remaining before the flat finish.
Risa-Ergon, Ameriabank and Asda-Savers have been chasing, and will be setting a high pace up this climb.
And the peloton is reduced from 119 to 90. Some of the sprinters who can't climb, like Hochmann, Westling, Jørgensen, Bandiera, Poulhiès, Korkotyan and Aguilar, are all dropped. The odd man out here is Drapac. By stats, he should also be dropped - but he has hung on to the peloton.
Bank of Ireland have more than one card to play though, not just Drapac, and with 15km to go Petrie-Armstrong attacked.
The break are still holding on to a 56 second lead, with Gallego now back in the front group, recovered from his fall.
The Irish attack has led to Mager, Crespo and Hansen hitting the relay train.
The break do still need catching as well. Their gap has been well under control for a long time, but they are still leading. And Schuler has now attacked clear.
Petrie-Armstrong is caught by the peloton with 7km to go and the pace seems to drop in the peloton. The break still have a 45 second lead, they have to be careful here!
Asda-Savers are on the front but that is their leadout train of Takenouchi, Brammeier and Rowe, and they aren't really pushing. Also well placed are serebriakov, Duque, Matthews, Drapac, Manarelli, Peeters, Fonseca, Haedo, Forero and Vingerling.
Geschke is one of the stars of the division so far but not well placed at all. His teammate Stoltz now attacks. He did the exact same move at the same point in last year's race.
Still the break lead. Schuler's attack has been chased down, and now he has to lead out the sprint.
Bell moves into the lead, with De Winde close. All of this group have sprint stats of 64-66, apart from Verona on 62, so this could be very tight.
Rowe and Serebriakov have recognised the danger and launched their sprint early at 2km to go. They catch Stoltz.
But it's too late. The breakaway are going to win a race they had no right to win, given how small the gap has been for so long.
But who is it going to be? Gallego is trying to get past the leader Bell.
Serebriakov and Rowe are still the lead sprinters, but Matthews, Fonseca, Haedo, Forero, Vingerling, Peeters and Drapac are close
Up front though, one man has found a final kick to storm through to win the race. That man is Lluis Mas for Bonsucro!
Gallego and Bell complete the podium. Schuler achieves Vontobel's Top 5 goal in 4th, ahead of Verona, De Winde, and Rivera.
Matthews takes 8th ahead of Fonseca and Vingerling, then, Serebriakov, Haedo, Duque, De Ketel and Geschke - the Evonik rider finishing fast, but from too far back.
So there we are, another classic where the breakaway steals the glory.
