What is EPIC?
EPIC is short for Elites of Professional International Cycling, a fantasy PCM game that relies on roleplaying as a manager and/or cyclists. A bunch of young riders enter the peloton in 2013, all hoping to be the next superstar. Only with the right manager can they succeed.
What do you do as a manager?
1) Select an available team
2) Create a team HQ
3) Apply for races, set goals and make your startlists,
4) Sign young riders
5) Upgrade your riders
6) Transfer season
7) Report your experiences in the team HQ
What do you do as a rider?
1) Make up a name, background and stats
2) Reach an agreement with a team
3) Upgrade your rider
4) Report your experiences in the team HQ
How do the races work?
The races are done thanks to a group of reporters, who each take care of a few races. The races are being run in single race mode, with the startlist each team wants to use. Random fitness is off and reporter rider the race with a passive control team. He will then post a report of how the race went and an export of the results. For an example of how this works, I refer you to the 2013 Paris-Roubaix thread. https://pcmdaily.com/forum/viewthread....ost_865593
What races are on the calendar?
All WT races, all .HC races and the biggest .1 races are included. As in real life, World Tour teams must ride all WT races. The WT races must have the real life amount of riders per team, while the CT races must have 6-8 riders per team. A rider cannot ride two races at the same day.
