So this was discussed in the main thread. This will be just for discussion about structure etc, and the other thread will be only for updates and comments from readers. Here are the rules again:
1. At least 175 words per post
2. At least 1 picture per post
3. Result(s) if necessary
So far we have 4 characters established, however, I don't have a tonne of motivation for back-of-the-pack guy. If someone wants to help me out on him then that would definitely help. No one reporter is confined to write for any number of characters, but it must be made clear in a spoiler above the post who is writing out of the characters.
New characters may be introduced at some point(s) during the story, but only sporadically.
I've said it before, and I'll say it again. I'm not in charge - by any means - so feel free to chop and change these rules and I'll edit this post accordingly.

First of all, we need profiles of all the characters. Age, stats, potential, but also things about his potential.
Then of course we need to decide on how to handle the PCM aspect of things - my suggestion is, we create a .cdb, play the stages in single race mode, then after season one, someone sims through a season, and we use that .cdb in single race mode.

Ok. But I don't think we should make profiles here. I think that thinks like that take away from the initial point of the innitiative. I think Mre wanted us to develop a story with minimal contact between us.

We can do it like this: We'll make profiles of what's already been posted, so that stuff doesn't start contradicting.

Surely someone must have something to add? The PCM aspect could give us a lot of bother, we definitely need to get that figured out. Anyone got any input on that?
Another thing we'll need to be careful about is character interaction. It'll need to happen and it'll definitely add to it, but it'll be tricky when PCM comes to play.

I will not be able to contribute with PCM stuff as I don't have PCM14.
However, I think your idea, Dippofix, sounds great. Another possibility is almost the same. Play 1 season in career mode and then copy the .cdb and start season 2 in career mode again. (Or simply just continue the same career .cdb?) I don't know what will work out best, but there must be some transfers and development around the peloton.

That way only 1 could (realistically seen) do the PCM part, which wouldn't be too great. Or am I misunderstanding something?
An alternative would be doing the racing in career, then attaching the .cdb in each update. The disadvantage about this however is, you can only use 1 team (without messing with the .cdb.
Also, in the next post I make, I'll specify rider type, and such, and possibly add some stats (in a spoiler). I suggest everyone does this if we want to reach the PCM part anytime soon.

Reading back on it, I think there are three character:
1. Young guy
2. Comeback guy
3. Sick guy
Is that right? I'll assume it is, and base my next post around young guy. If it's not, then, well, we've got a new character.
