Specialisation is based on the stats, it's not really a bonus. A stage racer mainly has a good MO and TT, a fighter mainly a good FL and FTR
PRL affects prologues, TTs shorter than 8km
GC is general classification
They have no effect but on morale. A low morale doesn't matter at all in PCM13 though
Gel makes the red bar decrease slower, so you can indeed extend sprint and attacks (or at least I think so)
If you empty yellow you won't be able to follow accelerations properly and accelerate yourself. Also your top speed will be lower.
1) Stage races will give you bonuses towards climbing, time trails and endurance. Fighter will focus mainly on the flat stat.
2) Affects the rider's stamina (yellow bar) on short stage races under 100km.
3) General Classification - leader's jersey
4) Yes, it affects their morale under training and therefore their race performance. A rider with status as Captain gets pissed if you use him as Teammate all the time. But it has no great effect in PCM13.
5) Extends attacks/sprints, yes. Takes effect after 3km or so.
6) Great reduction in speed. Can't keep up with anyone.
