Cyanide, Where are You?

The server of PCM has now been down for many days, and we still haven´t heard a word from Cyanide! I´m really starting to get annoyed by this!
First the launch a game that is more or less unplayable, and then they put the money in their pockets, and then wanish!
Before the game was launced, Cyanide were EVERYWHERE! Making promo for the game, but where are they now? Hmmm!
We are a lot of people buying this game every year, despite knowing, that it has a lot of bugs and is more or less unplayable! Why do we do that, cause we love cycling, and cause we don´t have any alternative! IS Cyanide taking advantage of this, sure they are!
But again, where are the people from Cyanide. There must be some of them, who are members here on PCM.DAILY? So get out of bed, and give us some information, on what is going on.
Btw, the worst thing about the gaming industry, is that it is impossible to get your money back. A bit like bying firecrackers, you can´t bring it back, saying it didn´t go off! |

I honestly don't think Cyanide is active here, and if there are members, they are very unactive. It's no use complaining on PCMDaily, only complaining to Cyanide itself might work.

There might be some. But pretty sure they don`t check the technical problems here.
There is a thread in the official forum though. Focus and a Cyanide stuff member have responded that they are aware of the server issue and are working on it. |

I wrote to them MORE than once. They always answer you, when you ask a question regarding graphics, but as soon you ask to the server or the probs with the game, they don´t answer. Bad customer service.
And I know that this is not the official site, but with more than 100.000 members, there must be some Cyanide guys. If there isn´t, well that would just prove, that they don´t give a sh..! I mean, this is their biggest platform for them, to get info on what their customers say about the game. |

But they can`t respond on every PCM community site. It`s not such a big team to check all communities for problems.
Therefore they have their own forum and as said, they already responded there to fix the server issue. |

True. But as they have their own forum, they are not forced to respond in other communities.
Of course this would be better for all fans of the series, but you rarely see this for other games neither. |

If the people behind Football Manager would take over the development of PCM then i would literally piss myself in pure joy
Until then, we are stuck with this product that simply isn't going anywhere. Most times they take things away that people enjoy, simply hopeless.
And their forum, is french, and barely usefull for the international community. When you make a global game this is so freaking unproffesional to stick with french.
Is it french arrogance? I don't know, all i know is that this game could be SO MUCH MORE if the right people where working on it.
It really is a shame

Maybe it is in French because it is made by French people. A large proportion of their fan base, probably the largest bit, is in France. It is arrogant to assume that everything should be in English, even though it is the world's most common language, French is right up there, and I would guess the largest language spoken by players of PCM is probably French too. |

Also they have an English subforum and a FR/EN technical part there.
But as you can see the server issue was so far only discussed in French. So until nobody asks them in English, why would they need to respond in English? Google translator easily makes it readable as well.
I don`t want to defend them as having better communication between developers and community would obviously be great. But in that specific issue I think they have already responded enough and there is no need to respond until it`s fixed except for being offline for far longer. It`s 4 days now and 2 of those were on the weekend. |

LOL. But everybody can read english I thimk! Only french people can read french, I think! Therefore ENGLISH! I´m from Denmark, if I make a game, should I then make a site on danish? Not good for business

You have no evidence to support your claim.
When you go global with something you make sure turn your customer service into english as well.
I don't speak english as my first language so there is no bias or anything there.
I am not saying that they can't have a french part of the forum, but the possibillity for foreign players to interact on their forum is very poor, and that is simply not good enough. |
