Hi, I have installed all patchs and PCM daily 2014 DBV1 database. I am now in May of first season and I have realized that TdF stages are all wrong. It starts with Ajaccio ITT (in reality it was flat stage), 4th is Bruxelles - Roubaix with cobbles (there was no such a stage in 2013), 5th is TTT Roubaix - Lille (no such a stage in reality). In short, all stages are purely fictional (last one is ITT on Champs Elyses...). Is it possible to updat the game now, so I can continue in a season and have official 2014 TdF route?? Thx for your help. Giro I play now is great, it is exact copy of 2014 race.
I downloaded 2014 stages from this forum, renamed them from f.e. top_tdf_01_2014 to top_tdf_01_2013 and now i have Plouay - Plouay for every stage of TDF. Any ideas what can be wrong? Thx
You can't change the stages mid-season. When the new season is loaded, the game (if there isn't a stage of the race for the next year) picks any of the variants for the next season. When you change it, you get the "stage" Plouay-Plouay for every stage you renamed - even the restdays in the vanilla game.
I agree that the Tdf 2014 stages ingame aren't the same as it was in reality -.-
Since you downloaded the PCMDaily 2014 DB your starting season is 2014. Therefore, renaming your stages from 2014 to 2013 without backup means the 2014 stages aren't present as 2014 stages anymore. Therefore, the Plouay thing shows up.
