With the Hall of Fame game today, I figured a new thread was in order to make predictions, discuss the season and to give me an outlet whenever the Browns find another way to disappoint. If anyone has suggestions on what to add to this post let me know. Here's to a great season! |

So, Andy Dalton's massive extension proves that yes, Joe Flacco did indeed completely wreck the QB market. I mean, these deals aren't even funny anymore, yes QB is the most important position in the game but come on, nearly 20M a year for mediocre quarterback....

You've got St. Louis way off. I think we will challenge for a Wildcard spot. Do you actually think a team as strong as ours will be in the bottom 5? We might have the best defense in the NFC not counting teams in our division who we historically have a pretty good record against anyway. We've got an improving WR core and Zac Stacy at RB.
Redskins might do better than that, now that they have Desean Jackson, and I think RG3 will be ready for this year now. Everyone will be expecting the knee injury but I think he will avoid any sort of major injuries.

1, 2, 3, 5, one of 6/7, 8, I doubt we lose 3 in a row, but its a tough 3 in a row here, weeks 9, 10 and 11) maybe 12, 13, 14, 15, 16
It all depends on Sam Bradford imo, but he had great numbers last year before he went down. He's got better protection this year now too.
Falcons do better too imo.

What's funny, jdog, is that there are 256 games in the regular season. I counted the combined wins for all the teams and it adds up to 263. I smell BS
Anyhow since I was right on predicting Seattle to win last year(*cough* valv), I'll go at your three questions.
1. Denver over Green Bay, 31-24
2. Denver
3. Jacksonville

If Gordon is out for the season I'd take 6-10. I like your predictions though, two picks in the first 7 for the Browns next season sounds good
In answer to the questions:
1. Denver Broncos beat San Francisco 49ers 31-13
2. Denver Broncos
3. Carolina Panthers

My 3 are
1.San Francisco beat Denver
2.Denver
3.Raiders
some points:
Rams I think would be a playoff team in every other division, but have 3 better teams which is really unlucky.
Jags will not be as bad as usual, as their coach is decent, and have built a decent team.
Denver to boss the season, but Manning won't be as good as last year and wont win again. |

They lost so many good players in the offseason and Newton has no one to throw to really, plus their running game is weak. Also I wanted to be different |

Was I supposed to predict our best O-Lineman, Starting QB, probable starting CB and starting DT were all going to get injuries before the season even started?
Really, does any team in this league even get as many as 75% the amount of wins as you predicted if they lose their starting QB?

Wow. We beat Denver. Does that mean we're a playoff team now? jkjkjkjk
O'Brien does give me hope with that play to go for 2 though. I swear Kubiak wouldn't have gone for 2 even in preseason

1.) Super bowl matchup and winner?
Titans - Lions --> draw. 2 winners
2.) Best Regular season record?
16-0 Lions, 55 TDs by Stafford
3.) Worst Regular season record?
Houston Texans
By the way Lions secondary looks like shit again this year. Even someone like Tom Savage could put up more than 25 points against it. Matthew Stafford doesnt look super so far, let's hope he will step up his game a bit.
Saw the Titans yesterday, and Locker is just not a franchise QB. Plz fuck up this season, and draft Mariota or Winston (if he can stay out of trouble). Locker is just not the answer and I do not have patience to wait on Zach Mettenberger devoloping
