Problem with switchable graphic card

I have a problem with my switchable graphic card. When I start the game, instead of let me choose what graphic card I want to choose, it forces me to use the weeker one, Intel HD graphics 4600 with all settings recommended on graphic options at minimum. I have a switchable graphic card, AMD Radeon(TM) HD8970M, I have tried to force the game to use it, in the card control panel, but the game simply doesn't recognize it. Any sugestions?

It's always been a problem with many games, that dual graphic cards in laptops are often not recognized correctly. I can't say for your particular card, but in my old laptop I also had such a dual chip setup with some Radeon card for the high graphics quality. There was a patched driver on the AMD site which switched off the Intel onboard chip completely, that did the trick for me back then. Might be worth a google
