local.cdb file

Amateur Posts: 24 Joined: 31-07-2011 PCM$: 200.00	Hi, I accidentaly opened my local.cdb file with word and now I can't remember what it was originally opened with, so at the moment I am unable to get my game to load up. Could somebody please tell me what the file is supposed to be opened with. Thanks

Grand Tour Champion Posts: 8360 Joined: 29-06-2007 PCM$: 200.00	There is no functionality in Microsoft Windows which lets you define which program should be used to open a certain file. But if you assigned the file extension .cdb to Microsoft Word then ask Google how to remove it. BTW: CDB files are not supposed to be opened at all. To edit the content, a tool is needed to first extract it and then open the extracted tables. PS: If you saved the local.cdb with Microsoft Word and you don't have a backup, then you need to re-install the game.
