I don't see a thread for this, did I miss it?
Or maybe everyone was just waiting for me to make it
...
Sweet, I just saw the Red Arrows fly over Celtic Park on the TV, then right over my neighbourhood out the window

My local news reported that 1billion people will be watching think that's a bit optimistic
If it's not the Olympics or worlds not really interested TBH.

I've made the trek north to Glasgow for a few days, and am looking forward to it. It may not be the most important event on the sporting calendar, but it is still fairly big, and with much more of the smaller 'obscure' nations than the Olympics has.
I'm squeezing in Triathlon, Hockey, Table Tennis, Squash, Track Cycling and Rugby Sevens into the next few days, then back for Athletics and Road Cycling on the last weekend. Got to take advantage when a sporting event comes to Britain!

Alex Dowsett won the time trial ahead of Rohan Denis & Geraint Thomas, in a close finish.
Pretty impressive from G after a tough TdF imo. David Millar only managed 8th but got a great reception. |
