Can't R&D

I've looked all over the forums and don't know if anyone else has had this problem.
I'm able to choose equipment and I'm able to pick what kind of R&D I want done, but it no longer ever finishes. Whenever I check the equipment page the day it says I started the R&D continues to advance with me. I was wondering if anyone knows enough about the equipment parameters to know how I could fix it. Or how I can edit some of the stats up so I'm not stuck with 2010 equipment forever. I didn't have this problem during the first few years of my career. Thanks.

According to the release notes of the latest patch, this was fixed. If not, contact Cyanide so that they can fix it.
