I am wondering if there is a maximum for your team's financial balance? It seems my team has been hovering around 3.5 mil for balance, and even after winning the TDF last season it did not go over it.
Is the race winnings for the TDF paid out in a lump sum, or is it spread out in monthly payments for the year?
I searched and I could not find this, and in - game I cannot make heads or tails of all of the financial stuff. You would think your monthly financial email would include more info than what you only have to look up to the upper right corner of the screen to clearly see: balance.

The budget is bound to the sponsor happiness. Full bar equals double the amount, empty bar means half the amount as actual year.
As far as I know, all prize money will be paid at the end of the race.

I meant the cash balance, not the actual budget. Your teams unspent money goes into this accrued balance, and mine has stayed at around 3.5 mil for a while.

Lachi, good info to know about sponsor confidence.
As you can see mine is rock bottom. You would think a BEL company would be happy with PR and TDF wins, but not Omega... Glad they are leaving and a new one is coming in. (InBrew? - anyone have a pic of their kit in game?)
OH, and I did search, but cannot find anything. Maybe I am not using the exact correct words. A lot of questions asking how to edit the balance etc., but nothing on if the game has an actual max where you stop adding to the balance. Many sports games do have a max and after you hit it your team stops adding to the balance.

Sorry, I misread your post. There shouldn't be a limit to the balance. But you cannot spend that money anyway, so I would not worry much.
And as can be seen on your screen, the prize money should be paid after each stage. But maybe there is something wrong with the prize money in the TdF. There were certain problems with prize money not being paid but I cannot remember which game and with race(s).
