Played pcm for years and have only now decided to give databases a go. I recently installed a database I think it was called FDB or something, the description promised new equipment, jerseys, rider pictures and new leaders jerseys. The only thing I gained from the database was the team names had changed(BMC) but not their uniforms(stayed as ugly 'COM' also the only equipment change I saw was some wheels going from 'ZWIN' to Zipp however bikes, helmets and team kit did not change and some champion jerseys did not apper in game(Costa WC) just appears as the generic world champion jersey same with Greipel's NC Jersey. This frustrates me as I feel like everything was installed correctly and I have not received all the content I was hoping for. If anyone could help me out I would appreciate it and if someone could tell me how I would go about getting the specialized aero road helmet in game that would be great.

Are you sure you installed DB at right folder? You maybe use Steam? You maybe installed it on D and not on C? Make sure to check PCM 2014 installation folder right again and re-install DB.
DBs are great and once you install one, you'll never wish to play the game again without DB, as they really improve gameplay (at least PCMdaily one does, alot).

Agree. Make sure you've installed in the right place. Can you please tell us where you have it? Also, this should be in another sub-forum.

Yeah sorry I realised I posted this on the wrong forum after it was posted!
I followed this YouTube tutorial on installing the DB as I'm Farley out of my depth with this and am not really sure how to do it.

If you use Steam, your game directory isn't the same as when you download from another site or in that video. Your directory is probably (firstly check where you installed Steam, on D or on C):
C/Program FIles/Steam/SteamApps/common/Pro Cycling Manager 2014
or
D/Steam/SteamApps/common/Pro Cycling Manager 2014
So, just follow that tutorial and change the game directory (when it ask you where to install the DB, put one of two option above).

It's installed on C, I just looked at the DB download page again and it had some preparation prompting you to delete some files like background and team_jersey if that has not been done could that be the reason for the new jerseys not showing up? Thanks for all the help really appreciate it |

In that case, just pick "C/Program Fies/Steam/SteamApps/common/Pro Cycling Manager 2014" directory for installing DB instead of "C/Program Files/Cyanide/Pro Cycling Manager 2014" that he uses in video. Other than that, follow his instructions and everything should be fine and installed properly.

You simply installed it in wrong directory where PCM couldn't recognize those files. Glad I helped.
