Can anyone explain to me what the prize money coefficient does for me? And what happens when I move it closer to 0/5?
Cheers |

At coefficient 1: you will receive the prize money like usually. (for example: 1000 euro to win a .1 race)
At coefficient 0.5: you will receive only half of the usual prize money. (same example: only 500 euro to win the race now)
At coefficient 2: you will receive double (same example: 2000 euro to win now)
At 0: you will receive nothing.
At 5: you will receive 5 times the usual amount (example: 5000 euro now)
So it's the multiplier of your race income.

It's the amount of money you get by winning races or getting good places in it. The higher it is, the more money you'll get. It can get unrealistic if you set it too high, so I recommend something between 0.5 and 2.0.

Thats the kind of answer I was looking for.
Thank you very much indeed, jolly nice of you. |

But isn't it pretty useless, as we cannot see how much the prize money is?
Another question: Does this factor apply to all the prizes of one season or only the prizes my team wins in the future? I guess it is only the future, which would make it even more useless. |

You can constantly change it, just like the coefficient of training speed.
But, yeah, it's pretty silly you can't see the normal prize money. |

But why should I change it? I don't know how much money I will need and not how much the change will get me? I think I just put it at 5x and give the rest of the money to the riders at the end of the season. |

That's a solution
Though - maybe this is a long shot - perhaps the prize money is the same as in 2011? If not, maybe someone can be bothered to make a list of how much money each race category and intermediate sprint brings. Though it's really up to Cyanide to implement that, such a basic feature... |

I dont remember they are the same or not, looks similar with two exceptions: bonuses for team position are HUGE. E.g. bonus for stage win in Vuelta & Giro is 6k and for 1st place for team is 8k. Second exception: were once bonuses for winning on the mountain and sprint finish. Now there are 6 categories of bonuses for sprints. I really dont know how it works, maybe for every mountain and sprint finish are hiden classification in this categories, idk.

No. This is from STA_bonus_superprestige. This is very hard to verify because you receive information about prizes after the completion of the race, you'd have to be recorded accurately all at all stages. But it looks quite reliably. |

You have to define testscenarios for all type of races aka only get a good positioin with 1 rider to see whats the prize money / win the KOM yersey cant be verify because to get the jersey you have to win KOM-Points and for winning KOM Points you get also money - so its not very clear.
At this PoV i think you can only evaluate 1-Day races by testing .... |
