Hello! I'm Thomas Voeckler, a French cyclist from team Europcar.
I have 34 years old. After an unsuccessful 2013 season, this season I want to achieve something more. My main goal is of course the Tour de France, where I want to win a stage and finish the race in the top 10 of the race. The other goals are also the Ardennes classics, Paris-Nice and the Vuelta a Espana. Criterrum du Dauphine also will be an important race for me but I do not see it as a target race this season, will serve more as a test legs before the Tour. To my greatest successes include 4 stages wins Tour de France, winning the mountains classification, and 20 days of riding in the Tour leader's jersey, and 1st place in the Grand Prix Cycliste de Québec in 2010.
Talk to you soon!
Sincerely,
Thomas Voeckler

Awesome rider choice best of luck!
Though at his age, I think it'd be better to go for KoM in the Tour instead of a top 10, where you have to be up there every single day. But your story, your choice, of course

We begin preparing for the season. I together with my colleagues went on a nine-day training camp in Lucca, Italy.
I will begin the season in early February in the race Etoile de Besseges. Then show up at the start of the Tour Mediterraneen and my last race this month will be the Tour du Haut Var. These races will serve me well as training for the Paris - Nice.
Talk to you soon!
Sincerely,
Thomas Voeckler

Today started out Etoile de Besseges. The first stage is flat with two small hills. Among the favorites is a team-mate Bryan Coquard.
The first mountain won G. Habeaux team-Groupe Gobert, and I was 2 Another bonus won F. Vachon of Bretagne, Vachon also won sprint. On the last kilometers the peloton stage and train Europcar long continued Cyril Gautier, who was distributing his friend, Bryan Coquard. Eventually stage won by J. Debusschere before Coquard and Cimolai. I was seventeenth.

More race action shots would be nicer than just podiums |

Look, it turns out that I will not be able to continue its history because today I suddenly windows broke and had to install the new record so the game was lost. Subject to the removal / closure. I'm sorry but, well ... I thank all the readers for entering the thread. |
