In my opinion, the 'buttonized' flags don't look good in PCM 2014. I also have checked some flag packs from previous games but all of them have distorted flags.
So I created a flag pack where all the flags have its original size.
Scroll down for "square sized flags" and "same sized flags" (game standard)
These flags belong in the folder \Gui\country _ flags\
Each download contains two folders:
country_flags: Overwrites the flags which came with the game
additional: These flags are not in the original database

Most of these flags you attached above are in different sizes, which is looking even worse in-game than rounded flags. But yeah, good job.

Yes, the flags have different sizes, that's the main feature of this pack.
The size is an important aspect of a flag. The swiss flag, for example, has to be square.
But it is really easy to make same sized flags, so here a pack consting of square sized flags.
Warning: These flags look strange on the interface where you can assign riders to the groups

True that, but why is f.e. Croatia's flag different size to Germany's one, when they're both tricolor and basically "done" in same way? Doesn't make much sense in my opinion and fairly sure it doesn't look good in game, but okay, I am fine with it.

That you have to ask the persons who created these flags.
Here another flag pack containing same sized flags using the 'generic' flag aspect ratio from the original flags of the game.

This is a flag replacement pack, so it only replaces the flags which come with the original game but I can add more flags to the pack on request.
Requested so far:
- Wales (done)

BTW: I updated the first and third pack. I added a slight border, so that dark flags like the Australian flag stand out more from the background. |
