For our new series "Cycling Interviews" we might have the chance to ask Sacha Modolo some questions.

How do you think your recent move to a World Tour team like Lampre - Merdia has helped you as a rider? How is it different to race for such a big team compared to a Pro Continental one like Bardiani?

You are one of Italy's big sprinter hopes: Who do you think will be your biggest rival for Italy's sprinter crown in the coming years?

Who do you prefer: Petacchi or Cipollini, or maybe someone entirely different?

What's the difference in sprints between Pro Continental races and the World Tour level? Do you think you have adapted well to this new level of racing?

Dropping out of le Tour must never be easy and always disappointing: How do you plan to strike back this season? Which Grand Tour will you aim for next year?
