I just bought the digital version of PCM14 (on steam), I got it activated and installed - no problems there. As in the newer PCM games you can link a previous game account to the newest game with a player key, which I would like to do? But what is this player key, because it is not the activation/CD key (When the game is opened steam has this little message in the bottom right corner with a key, different to the activation key. But when I type that key nothing really happens). And yes it is the 1.2.0.0 version of the game.

Make sure you copy and paste the key in to the activation bar
You only need the key to create your account.
The linking works differently, I think it is through the e-mail address. But this has been discussed before, so try the forum search or look in this sub forum.

Don't know what was wrong the first time, but now it works just fine and I created the profile and linked the PCM14 account to the PCM13 account (multiplayer). But thanks anyway!
