I reckon Renshaw? maybe echelons hit and OPQS dominate and kittel gets dropped. If it comes true, i should definitely buy some lottery tickets though

White jersey = Sagan, not Bardet?
Present:
Tinkoff-Saxo - AG2R - Colombian riders

Past:
Francisco Mancebo - Illes balears - Carlos Sastre - Kelme - Robbie McEwen

Jesleyh
Bardet will be wearing it because Sagan wears green Wink

But it's still Sagans jersey? I don't see why you don't give up his name in the info

How many KoM points are there on offer? Is it suicide to go for the polka dots or can top 3-5 gain the Jersey from an BotD?

There are 2 points to fight for on this stage.

If you look at the profile, its pretty easy to tell their arent 3-5 riders to gain the jersey as there only are 2 points from 2 4-categories

Why did they ruin the mountain system? Why did they create a system with so little points. I like it better if there are 5,3,1 for even the smallest categories to create some more battle for the hilly sprint. Then increase the high mountains to 50.

Why do you need 100 points to win the mountain jersey buth 400 points to win the sprint jersey?

I think it was a good change, kinda. It could definetely be polished, but seeing more or less 'no names' in the polka at Champs makes me sad. Its very hard to get the polka dot jersey now if you arent a top-5 climber (maybe a little too hard), but the change was definetely imo for the better as it before almost was a contest for getting in breakaways the most, where as it now who really CAN climb with the best.

I would like to see a change as well (little higher points and to make it a little easier for GOOD climbers such as Rolland and those type of guys to grab it).

Well it made for more exciting stages for sure. I remember Kohl attacking and making the early parts of stages interesting, and then he still managed to keep up with the GC riders later on, although it was later found out why Pfft Pellizotti the year after that. They only changed it because Charteau won it, but he really did do a great job of climbing when he did. I mean its actually more interesting imo, because a guy like Charteau cant get the most points on a tough climb, so someone that is chasing him in the polka dot rankings and is a pure climber would make up for lost points there and Charteau would have to go on the attack to defend his jersey the best he could, kind of like how Hushovd won the green jersey a couple years ago.

It made getting in the early stages breakaways kind of important because you could get more than a 2 or 3 point lead and actually have a chance at defending it when you get to the first mountain stage.

But meh, if the ASO would rather have some GC rider win it, while not even trying to get it, thanks to double points on the final climb and so on, then theres not much that can be done. 2012's KOM fight was pretty good actually, so I think my argument is too biased towards last year. Hopefully its better this year.
