Pick your Riders: Carlsberg

Here you can request riders for the Carlsberg team, which will be based in Denmark and have a Scandinavian feel to it. As the team is starting from scratch, it will need strong riders in all disciplines, plus some helpers
PCM.daily riders:
Mike Jensen
Frederik-Emil Friis Jakobsen
Kasper Kjeldsen
Martin Pedersen, Matti Breschel and Edvald Boassen Hagen have all been linked to the team. The Aussie Matt Goss could also be a possibility, his 78 SP wont get him far when riding for Southaustralia.com. These 4 will only sign if they feel 'wanted'.
Also, Thor Hushovd will join if DFL-Cyclingnews are relegated. Credit Agricole kicked him out and DFL snapped him up for the end of the season, but he wants to remain in the ProTour. Mads Kaggestad may also be interested.
Request away!
Oh and if you think the name 'Carlsberg' needs improving, feel free to suggest new names (As long as they contain the word Carlsberg).

I think Mads Kaggestad should be signed. He may be crap, but we just need riders. Also, if he is in your DB, then Alex Rasmussen would be a nice addition. |

Arvesen + Rasmussen are available to sign, but Piil is not. Hoj is open for sale too so could be bought.
Dont forget you need to have some domestiques too, other than yourselves.

Troels Vinther doesnt seem to be in this database and theres little hope of CSC giving up Cancellara. Backstedt will probably come as would Vastaranta / Christensen / Lund / Lovkvist.
The latvian Andris Nauduzs (75 SP)?

CSC has this to say about riders you can take:
"We are happy to sell you Pedersen, Breschel, Ljunqvist and Arvesen. You may also buy Kartsen Kroon if you want but NO other CSC riders are available."
Renäng will happily join though. |
