I´m going to create this thread to discuss about all the DBs created by the moment for PCM 14 (only current DBs). Now we can help people decide about which is the best DB to download.
REALNAME DBs AND OTHER SMALL PACKS

It includes realnames and logos and an important update of stats.
https://www.mediafire.com/?4b1r03ucl8...3ucl8281u3

This DB is created by me. The DB uses like a base CyMSpain Realname Database. It includes the same than CyMSpain except realname in palmares and an important update of stats. It also includes more track cyclists.
https://www.4shared.com/file/drmdbvqhb...BETA_.html
* CFQBase 2014_v2
This DB is also created by me. It includes the same as v1 except another important update of stats, some real maillots and minimaillots, BMC´s background minimaillot and new national champions.

https://mega.co.nz/#!iAkikTJT!aYiF4bZ...GEmRkHAOU/
* Manx´ Women DB
TheManxMissile loves women cycling. That´s why he did a women DB for PCM 14. At the moment the DB only includes 18 teams, but it is a promising work.

Maybe the most succesful fantasy DB for PCM 14. Jesleyh surprised us with a huge work. He put the members of Daily in one DB. 10/10!

@MARSUPILAMI:
You should remove your valoration (evaluation) because it has no meaning. You could replace it with a list of positive/negative aspects of each DB (pro/contra).
Or if you expect others to also evaluate them, you have to explain how you did it. Which aspects did you consider? How did you value the aspects?
Else you risk that people will not discuss the DBs but your ranking.
Furthermore you should categorize the DBs because different types of DBs cannot be compared. I suggest "Real name DBs", "Real name DBs with updated stats" and "Packages".
And you should change the thread title. First remove the CAPS, then name it something like "Comparison of all databases of PCM 2014"

With so many bugs related, a 9.5 can't be desserved...

You can also put here your valorations How can we do an evalution if you don't explain how you did your evalutation? (Yes, it is called evaluation.)
But assuming that 10 means perfection I wonder how you could give anything above 6 for these early DBs, which are full of bugs and haven't reached their final version.
mede33 wrote:
With so many bugs related, a 9.5 can't be desserved... I cannot jugde the bugs but that SpanishBase seems to be complicated to install and it doesn't use the full range for the stats. (What is the reason for limiting the stats to 82 exept that you have an excuse for vague stats).
But if it also has bugs, my evaluation would be 4 for that SpanishBase.
Also "Adamb´s Database v2" seems to be incomplete and difficult to install because it uses the sponsor pack but doesn't include it, apparently.
So my evalution for Adamb´s Database v2 would be 4 too.
I would rate many simple real name DBs higher, just because they are bugfree and easy to install. Therefore I can only repeat myself. We need different categories for different types of DBs.

Quite surprising why he g
That's not what i heard, but i wasn't really focused on this db. For me, a 9.5 would be only for a big and good db, without problems, which exclude Spanishbase. But as Lachi said, how can we judge it...

Why not add a poll about what we(users) think are the best?
And what is the best simple DB? (rework stats, realname most important)

Well, that is an idea, but then again, people will only rate the DB's they have used, and so only these DB would have a good score, and not others. |

I still find it quite surprising. 10/10 for content, but what will you do when biggers db will be released ? 15/10 ?
I can't see why an exe is more difficult to install than a cdb file...

Version 1 of the PCM Focus database has bugs as they have said themselves so a 10 cannot be justified. |
