AN POST CHAINREACTION
Introduction
We are An Post Chainreaction, we are an Irish team based in Belgium. This is our 7th season on the cycling scene previously being known as the Sean Kelly Development team. Once again this year we have retained our Continental licence. We have produced some great riders over the years including Matt Brammier (3 time Irish road race champion) Gediminas Bagdonas ( Now a World Tour rider) and most recently Sam Bennett ( Tour of Britain stage winner now showing the world his sprinting ability which he learned from the great Sean Kelly now riding for Team Netapp Endura). We are coming off a great 2013 season. This year we are hoping for great things mostly on the European Tour.
The Team
The special thing about An Post Chainreaction is our togetherness and our strong team bond, travelling around Europe, not always in the best conditions really unites our team and we stand by each other when the going gets tough. Everyone knows each other well and we have a diverse team with riders from Great Britain, Australia, Belgium, The Netherlands, New Zealand and of course Ireland.
Owain Doull One of the most promising sprinters in Great Britain also a track cyclist, he is a great asset to the team
Sean Downey A great puncher Sean will prove valuable to the team on hard days over rolling terrain
Bobbie Traksel A veteran on the team Bobbie has a lot of experience he will be our leader on the cobbles and he still has a decent kick in the sprints, we will look to Boobie for wins this season
Spoiler This story will not start immediately as I am kind of busy at the moment and I am also waiting for patches and databases to be released so I hope to get races underway within this month but I was itching to start this as I have had this idea for a long time now. This is my first story so I am just testing some things out at the moment also so please bear with me, Thank You

Pre Season Training Week 1
Pre-Season training started in early January on The Flanders cobbles and long flat open roads, perfect for sprinting and preparing for the cobbled classics. As we were in Flanders in January the team didn’t expect the best conditions and we were greeted with heavy rain but we made do and got up in the saddle. Riders here were Laurent Van Den Bak, Kevin Claeys, Bobbie Traksel, Owain Doull, Robert Jon McCarthy, Marcus Christie, Ryan Mullen and Wout Franssen.
The team came up to one of the many Belgian cobbled “walls”, intimidating for any rider even on a training ride.
The men were separated from the boys here with Laurent, Bobbie and Kevin pulling away from the rest of the team
We regrouped on the descent and prepared our trains for Bobbie and Owain. We even came across some Belgian riders on the route with Wout, Kevin and Laurent chatting to the locals.
Owain showcased his power in the sprint
It was a hard but rewarding week for the boys on the famous Flemish terrain.
Spoiler Sorry about the stupid Green and White circles they will be no longer in the next update

Australian Road Championships 2014
This was it the first race of the season the Aussie Champs in Ballarat just outside Melbourne we had two guys on the line in the Road Race here Glenn O'Shea and Robbie Jon McCarthy we didn't expect much of the guys here and the race was boring for us with Glenn unfortunately abadoning and Robbie coming in the last group. The boys are obviously only gaining fitness from this race.
