Why is there a 8km long time trial before the 10 km timetrial?
2 timetrials right after each other.
According to this site. The timetrial of 8km doesn't exist?

It's because the 2014 edition had only 5 stages instead of 6 like in previous editions and like in the database (Cyanide didn't touched it since last year) , so you have the fifth stage of 2014 and the sixth stage of Cyanide's version 2013, and those stages are very similar because the course of the timetrial has not changed.
So you should edit the DB and change the number of stages of 6 into five and the last timetrial will disappear. |

Actually it seems like they had a short stage as stage nr 5 and then later that day a small timetrial as somewhat of a stage 5b in 2013
Doesn't look like they have the same thing going in 2014. Just 5 normal stages. |

That seems legit. At least Post Danmark Rundt does the same thing. In DK races aren't allowed to be more than 5 days long, and so they have two stages on the fourth day, a short stage - 100 km - and then a 15 km timetrail

This is the first stage of my Tour de Suisse, a prologue of 7 km. in the city of Basel:
And here is the second stage, which goes from Basel to Freiburg (although in the image is written down that itends in Basel. I`ll correct it).

El pelotón sale de la ciudad de Basilea. Hoy va a ser una jornada dura, con un final trampa lleno de repechos.
El grupo al paso por Delémont:
La escapada se juega el primer sprint intermedio en Moutier.
Comienza la subida al Grenchenberg, un puerto brutal con varios kilómetros por encima del 9%
Tras coronar llega el temido descenso, empinado, con varias curvas complicadas y con el suelo mojado.
Ya se divisa la ciudad de Grenchen, que da nombre al puerto (en realidad se lo da a la montaña, que a su vez se lo da al puerto):
LLegamos a la capital suiza, Berna, donde se encuentra la otra meta volante:
Tras un tramo llano, comienzan los primeras repechos, que no cesarán hasta llegar a la meta.
Pasamos por Marly, que albergará la salida de la tercera etapa:
Entre los árboles, al fondo, ya se ve el alto campanario de la Catedrál de San Nicolás, de Fribourg.
Comienza el sprint final:
Sagan consigue alzarse con la victoria !!

Salimos de Marly, localidad por la que ya se pasó en la etapa anterior. Parece que hoy el tiempo acompañará durante todo el dÃa.
Pasamos por algunos pequeños pueblos durante las primeras ascensiones.
Pasamos por Uetendorf, donde se encuentra el sprint intermedio. Al fondo podemos ver la ciudad de Thun.
Ya falta poco para coronar el Schallenbergpass, más o menos a mitad de la etapa:
Poco antes de llegar al siguiente puerto de tercera, prácticamente encadenado con el puerto anterior.
Comienza un falso llano que llevará a los corredores al pueblo de Sörenberg.
Sörenberg y estación de esquà homónima. Ya comienzan las rampas duras del Glaubenbielenpass.
Llegamos al pueblo de Giswil situado tras el descenso del puerto anterior. Al fondo, el Lago de Sarnen o Sarnersee.
Las bonitas vistas al Lungernersee no hacen que las duras rampas del último puerto puntuable amainen.
Ya falta poco para la meta.
Brienz ya está a la vista, ahà se encuentra la lÃnea de llegada. También podemos observar el Brienzersee a la izquierda.
Pero lo duro aún no ha acabado, todavÃa falta una pequeña cota corta, pero dura, por las afueras de la ciudad.
Una rápida bajada y...
META !!

Any link to PCMspain. I had a look at pcmspain.net but I can´t make head or tail of it. Guess my spanish is below bad, and google translate doesn´t light up your world to be sure.
The stages looks outstanding, if I forgot to mention it.... Guess the whole package will be finished before any DL link.... |

Fourth Stage, this time, a flat one:
Comenzamos la etapa, con otro dÃa soleado, en la pintoresca localidad de Spiez, a las orillas del lago de Thun. Está previsto que los sprinters se disputen la etapa, pero antes deberán superar dos segundas, en la primera parte de la etapa.
Vista aérea de Spiez, al fondo está Thun, ciudad que da nombre al lago.
Pasamos por Zweisimmen justo antes de comenzar la subida del primer puerto, el Saanenmöserpass.
La serpiente multicolor ya ha coronado y afronta el descenso.
Al final de este llegamos a Saanen, un poco a la izquierda también está Gstaad, aunque no se puede ver en las imágenes.
Pasamos por Chateau d'Oex, donde ya terminé una etapa de mi Tour de Romandie, esta vez, la localidad será testigo de la subida al Col de Mosses.
Ya falta poco para el final del puerto, la mayorÃa de los sprinters sufren al máximo para no tratar de quedarse.
Durante la bajada, encontramos un desvÃo que va hasta Leysin, para alegrÃa de muchos, este año no se subirá allÃ.
La bajada termina en Aigle, a partir de ahÃ, todo llano.
A la derecha de los corredores, Monthey.
La fuga va a llegar a Saint Maurice.
Martigny al fondo, allà se encuentra el segundo sprint intermedio, el primero estaba en Aigle.
Preciosas vistas para los ciclistas de este impresionante Valle del Ródano
Llegamos a Sion, capital del cantón del Valais.
Falta poco para llegar a Sierre, lugar donde se sitúa la meta.
Bouhanni se lleva la etapa !!

I don't actually know, I hope it is finished on the first or second week of January, but it depends on how much time will I have...
Probably I won't spend so much time as in stages 1, 2, 3 and 4 because I will try to do the rest of the stages on the same zcts |

Don`t worry about the variant of Tour de Suisse, I will be doing it at the same time as Tirreno.
