I am using PCM 13 version 1.0.4 with the Expansion pack and the Fictional Rider database. I've created a new team and various new staff members and the game has run pretty well on the whole (the odd crash but nothing major).
The problem I have found is with the National Championships. Having participated in all the 3D races I could for my riders, I then receive an email a day or so afterwards telling me that different riders have won the RR titles for some of the smaller national races. When I look at archive and the results screens, the winners are correct, but in the subsequent races none of the 'real' champions are wearing their NC jerseys. In fact the riders from the email list are wearing the jerseys instead
I have gone into the database to correct this and it tells me that all the 'real' winners are former RR champions and the email list of winners are the current champions.
Example: One of my riders won the Slovenian championship, but in the database it said he was a former RR champion and the rider from the email was the champion.
Whilst this is a small pain to change in the database, I wondered if this had been experienced before and whether or not it was something that could be fixed.
There are several national championships in the game which are simulated automatically and where you only receive an e-mail from, f.e. Slovenia. You can't change anything about it.
What you can do is change the date of the national championships from which you get an e-mail. Give it a date after you receive the e-mail, f.e. when you receive the e-mail on 28th of June then you place the national championship on the 29th of June. That's how you get the right national champions. (When you change the date make sure you change it right, so not only the day and the month but also the gen_i_calculated_date)
The fact that some riders who won the championships before you got the 'mailed championships' comes because it's a new championship. The winner a few days before is then a former winner because they have a new winner in that 'mailed championship'.
