Hi.
I've just downloaded PCM2014 applied variants and realname DB.
I haven't playd PCM since ... 2011 or maybe 2012, I think.
I am a bit puzzeled by the career.
I think I understand the schedule, but I'm unsure of how many races each rider should/can ride pr. season?
The rider objectives are all new and confusing for me.
I assume the objectives determine the training plan.
Furthermore, it has effect on the riders mood/motivation?
... But the standard objectives are often far away from sponsor goals Should I give a f*** about the riders and change the objectives to satisfy the sponsors, or is it more important to satisfy the riders and hope their form will be good enough to reach sponsor goals?
1. Depends on you and type of rider, but it should vary from some 65 to 95.
2. Yes, it has effect on mood, motivation and riders performance, as rider will only be in top form when his objective races come. That happens like 2 or 3 times a year, for couple of weeks.
3. Balance. Try sticking with leaders for tough goals (f.e. Froome should be leader for Le Tour Win, as that's Sky goal) and a bit weaker guys for some easier things (f.e. Boasson Hagen should be good enough to win Strade Bianche, if that is one of the goals for Sky).
However, if you can't keep the balance between these two, I think that sponsor goals are more important than riders. So, go with them.
Thanks for the input, both of you ... I'll give it a go
(I know my errors will be irrelevant, when the next patch arrives - making me start a new career :-)
