Hi
Can i send rider to breakaway group in order to slow them down, just like some teams sometimes do it in real life ?

I have never seen or heard that this has been done in real life or is even possible,
What exactly do you want to achieve?

To prevent the early break to get a huge gap, put one of your riders to short relay on 55% in the peloton.

It is not possible to slow down late attacks due to obvious reasons (except for a bug, which I will not explain)

Well .. i am not so much experienced in cycling. But i remember situation from last years tour de france when some1 attacked 15 km from finish and Kreuziger counterattacked in favor of Contador. But how exactly that counterattack helped Contador ?

By attacking, Kreuziger made it so the other teams had the obligation to chase, and Contador could just sit up and save energy. Alternately, Contador could attack later on, and once he bridged the gap to Kreuziger, he would still have a teammate.
